E-Club Events
Hamburger Feeds
E-Club has been providing hungry OU Football fans "Burgers and Beans Across the Street" for over 20 years. Serving starts about 2 hours before each home football game. Meal includes a burger with all the fixings, baked beans, chips, candy bar, and a drink. Not bad for seven bucks. So come out and support the Engineers' Club and get some "Burgers and Beans Across the Street!!"
Fall Festival
Fall Festival is a time for all the student organizations in the College of Engineering to show off themselves and to recruit new members. There are plenty of other things to do as well. E-Club gives away burgers, chips, and drinks to students. There is also a dunk tank, bungee run, mechanical bull, and free snow cones!
Career Fair
Held during the 3rd or 4th week of September, the Engineering Career Fair is one of the largest career fairs at OU. With around 140 different engineering companies represented, there is bound to be a company right for you. The Career Fair is held in the Lloyd Noble Center, and the hours are 12pm to 4pm.
Open House
For the past ninety-six years, the students of the University of Oklahoma have had the pleasure of inviting area high school students from across the state to come to Norman every year to sample what OU Engineering has to offer. Academic testing and engineering design competitions are the highlights of the day. These competitions are designed to allow students to display their knowledge of math, science, and logic. The annual Engineering open House allows tomorrow's engineers and scientists to get started today.
Winter Ball
Keeping with OU Engineering tradition, E-Club hosts our annual Winter Ball every January. Hosted at the beautiful Cobblestone Creek Country Club, Winter Ball is a night of dancing, good food, loud music, and of course, karaoke. Come dance the night away and have a good time! All engineering students and faculty are welcome to attend!
Engineers Week
Each year in the spring the engineers take a break from their rigorous studying and celebrate the anniversary of their founding. As you may have noticed, shamrocks, shillelaghs, and leprechauns are our symbols and our color? Green!! The reason we like Irish spirit so much is that our patron saint is St. Patrick O'Reilly. Why St. Pat? It was his engineering ability that allowed him to rid Ireland of all the snakes many, many years ago. So to honor him, we have our annual Engineers Week. The week is full of parties and activities and is the highlight of the semester. It is also the time of year when the lawyers are on the lookout for anyone wearing green...
