There are a number of scholarships available for incoming students through the university. A few of those available for all incoming Engineering Phyiscs Students as well as some genereal scholarships are listed below. For more scholarships please visit the scholarship website.

J. Clarence Karcher Scholarship
            i) Number Given: 20+
           ii) Amount: $700-$1400
          iii) Eligibility: all grade level of Astronomy, Physics, Astrophysics, and Engineering Physics majors
         iv) Deadline: March 15th
          v) Available to: incoming freshman-seniors (Current College students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA)

DISTINGUISHED FRESHMAN SCHOLARSHIP
The Distinguished Freshman Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding entering freshmen who declare a major in engineering with a one time award for their first year at OU. The deadline for the Distinguished Freshman Scholarship is February 1. In order to be considered for the College of Engineering Distinguished Freshman Award, students should complete the University of Oklahoma Scholarship application, either the online application or a paper copy. All students who complete the University Scholarship application and who indicate a major in engineering will be considered for College of Engineering Freshman Scholarships.
